The Zizzers started strong at home against the Rogersville Wildcats in round two of districts with a touchdown pass from Kenslow to Hafer, followed by the extra point from Larsen. Zizzers Go 11-0 Defeating Sikeston 43-0
The Zizzers shutout the Sikeston Bulldogs at home with a 43-0 victory, giving the Zizzers a historical record of 11-0 for the season so far – and sending them to the Class 4 District 1 Championship game against 3rd seed Festus who had an upset victory over 2nd seed Farmington. Zizzers Advance To Districts Round Two, Defeating Cape Central 61-0
The Zizzers were the first seed in the Class 4 District 1 playoff bracket, which means they faced the bottom seed, Cape Central in round one of district play. The undefeated Zizzers forced a shut out even with second string and JV players taking over in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Final score: 61-0.
