The Zizzer football boys faced their first tough opponent this season and came away with a loss at home, 55-41. The Camdenton Lakers came out fast to get the momentum going scoring against the Zizzer quickly, but then by the half the Zizzers had come back strong, 21-20 Lakers lead. Congrats to Zizzer Football for crushing Bolivar at Districts Round 2 and advancing to Round 3 against Webb City. According to the record books, Bolivar and West Plains should have had a closer game than they did. Until facing the Zizzers, Bolivar’s record was the same as the Zizzers: 9-1. Zizzer Varsity Football put a big smashdown on the Logan-Rogersville Wildcats 61-6. Coach Ary took out a bunch of his normal starters and put in several younger players who gained a ton of valuable experience.
