Just a few days earlier, the Lady Zizzer softball team fought a long 11-inning battle against Ozark and came up short. But today – the game belonged to the Lady Zizzers, as they dominated over the Lady Vikings with a final score of 11-0! Ok ladies, now you’ve got your groove on – let’s keep it going! Zizzer Softball Falls to Ozark 7-3
The Lady Zizzers fell to Ozark 7-3 on August 23 at home. At least it was a non-league game, and their next opponent is Parkview (who also lost their first game of the season against Cassville 11-0). So we expect the Lady Zizzers will turn this around and grab the win next game. No matter what, we’re proud of you Zizzers! You always play with heart, and you play with Zizzer Pride!

First Ever Zizzer Swim Meet at West Plains!
The Zizzer swim teams (both boys and girls) have only been around for a few years, but they’ve had to travel a lot. As in, EVERY single swim meet they’ve ever attended. But that all changed on August 20, 2016 as the Zizzer boys were able to host their first ever home swim meet at the West Plains City Pool. And what a great meet it was! If you listened to Coach Ary’s radio interview on the morning of the game, you might have had some concerns about how well the Zizzers would fare against Waynesville. And after losing 9 amazing seniors last year, we were all a little concerned about this season.
