First Ever Zizzer Swim Meet at West Plains!
The Zizzer swim teams (both boys and girls) have only been around for a few years, but they’ve had to travel a lot. As in, EVERY single swim meet they’ve ever attended. But that all changed on August 20, 2016 as the Zizzer boys were able to host their first ever home swim meet at the West Plains City Pool. And what a great meet it was! And after losing 9 amazing seniors last year, we were all a little concerned about this season. Cross Country Zizzers Both Earn 3rd At Sectionals
Congrats to the Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country Zizzers! Both teams earned 3rd place at Sectionals at Camdenton, and are now qualified to move on to the State Championship competition at Jefferson City. All the photos are available here. And they’re off! Zizzer Football Crushes Bolivar in Districts Round 2
Congrats to Zizzer Football for crushing Bolivar at Districts Round 2 and advancing to Round 3 against Webb City. According to the record books, Bolivar and West Plains should have had a closer game than they did. Until facing the Zizzers, Bolivar’s record was the same as the Zizzers: 9-1.
