Zizzers Are District Champs After Defeating Carl Junction
The Zizzers claimed the District Championship by doing something they haven’t done before – defeat Carl Junction (41-26 at home). This marks the first time the Zizzers have earned a District Championship title against teams from the west side of the state. In prior years Webb City and Carl Junction have often been the roadblock teams preventing the Zizzers from moving forward – but NOT THIS YEAR! #GoZizzers!
ZXC State Champs!
Zizzer Cross Country girls are now the State Champs in Class 4 – their 13th state championship title! Wow! Zizzer Cross Country boys earned 3rd at state with senior runner Riley Simpson earning the individual champion title as the fastest runner in Class 4. Wow!
Zizzers Advance To District Championship Game
Zizzers defeat McDonald County 35-2 to advance to the final district championship game against Carl Junction. Go Zizzers!
