Zizzers Go 11-0 Defeating Sikeston 43-0
The Zizzers shutout the Sikeston Bulldogs at home with a 43-0 victory, giving the Zizzers a historical record of 11-0 for the season so far – and sending them to the Class 4 District 1 Championship game against 3rd seed Festus who had an upset victory over 2nd seed Farmington.
Three Zizzers have set season records so far, and of course they will add to those numbers in the next game. QB Connor Rackley set the new Zizzer season record for touchdown passes at 16. Runningback Brayden Lidgard has rushed for well over 2,000 yards – 2,141 to be exact. And career-wise he’s at 4,565 yards so far, which puts him at #15 in the state record books for most rushing yards in a career – and he’s a junior – and we’re not done playing football yet! Kicker Trey Cressman broke the Zizzer season record for extra point kicks made a few games back, so every successful kick he earns sets the bar that much higher. Wow! What a season!

FIRST QUARTER
