Zizzer Varsity Football zapped the Parkview Vikings 43-21 at Home. Also, senior Cheer Team and senior Zizzer Pride Band members honored their parents at the game. It was a perfect fall evening for football, band and cheer team!

The Zizzers pretty much dominated during the majority of this game. Zizzer defense with #52 Neuschwander kept the Viking offense contained for most of the game. Meanwhile Zizzer offense kept pushing the ball down the field with QB #9 Sam Hall handing off or throwing to #21 Martin or #26 Hoopes with great blocking from #45 Cobb, or else throwing to #87 Dietrich.
Zizzers executed like they needed to, and this was a good win for them to help refocus after the painful loss to Kickapoo. Of course there were a few mistakes, like when we allowed a Parkview kickoff return to become a full-speed run into the end zone (which also happened at the Kickapoo game). Thankfully, the Zizzer offense kept on putting more points on the board, to a safe cushion / margin, for the entire game.
Overall, the Zizzers played a great game both offensively and defensively. They got a chance to flex their muscles and run a variety of plays to test themselves out. And they proved that, even with some ‘big’ injuries, these boys have what it takes to keep it going no matter what. It’s an exciting time to be a Zizzer fan!
Next up… Zizzers (7-1) travel to play against Rolla (2-6)
