Zizzer Cross Country teams showed their strength at the Joplin Southwest Stampede with the varsity girls taking 3rd place (just barely missing the 2nd place spot by 2 points) and the varsity boys taking 2nd place. This was a multi-state competition with teams from Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Both Zizzer teams were the top Missouri teams – and most of the runners brokeĀ their personal records at this race. Congrats Zizzers!
PLUS as an added bonus – former ZizzerXC runners were present representing their colleges – and they stopped by to see Coach Joe Bill Dixon and crew. What a pleasant surprise for everyone!
